  SOME OF MY FAVORITE PLAYERS
Below are a few of my favorite guitar players.

Jimi Hendrix

I think that anybody who plays, or would like to play guitar, weather you play rock, blues, metal, etc, has to have Hendrix in there top ten guitar players. Although alot of people now do things like Hendrix did them, it was Jimi who pioneered those styles and truly brought the guitar to a new level....not to mention his awesome use of feedback. Hendrix's most recognized guitars would be right-handed Fender Stratocasters strung upside down.

Hmmmm, maybe that would be a good project for next time.......the Hendrix Monterey Strat, a left-handed strat strung upside down for a right-handed player (ie. ME) and the Monterey paint.......but one project at a time.

Kirk Hammett

Hammett is the lead guitarist for Metallica.....one of my favorite bands. His speed makes trying to play alot of his stuff really hard for a player of my skill level.......but it sure is fun to try. Kirk's solos are awesome....but where are the solos on St. Anger?????? Kirk's most recognized guitars are ESP KH-2, KH-3, Les Paul's, and of course the KH-2 Relic (the one with the orange "Caution, HOT" graphic on the body)

James "The Mighty" Hetfield

Hetfield is the rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist for.......you guessed it....Metallica. Hetfield's music gives the band its heavy crunch sound.......ohh yeahhhh!!!!!! Hetfield's most recognized guitars are ESP Explorers and Les Paul's........and maybe his ESP Grynch.

Stevie Ray Vaughn

SRV is without a doubt my favorite blues player. Watching him play in live performances (I never saw him live in person, but watched on TV and video) is excellent. Being the only guitar player on stage most of the time, and hearing SRV play both the rhythm and lead guitar is amazing. It can only make you wonder what he could have achieved? SRV's most recognized guitars are Fender Stratocasters.
